The Slice® 10493 Metal Auto-Retractable Trigger Knife combines a familiar shape with an easy-to-grip, easy-to-use trigger mechanism. Simply squeeze the handle to expose the finger-friendly blade and release it to retract the blade. Engage the blade lock switch when storing the tool to secure the trigger and prevent accidental blade exposure. Other convenient features include a lanyard hole and a quick blade-change button. The 10493 comes with a standard rounded-tip utility blade (10524) that provides low-resistance cutting while offering protection against accidental puncture injuries. Like all Slice blades, it lasts up to 11 times longer than metal. When the edge becomes dull on one side, simply flip the blade over to get a fresh edge. The 10493 is also compatible with pointed-tip (10525) and serrated-tip (10523) blades—all of which are chemically inert and never rust.
