The Slice® 10417 retractable precision knife features a safe and effective micro-ceramic blade with exclusive Finger-friendly® grinding technology. Safe to the touch, the 10417 allows for cutting intricate details in thin materials thanks to its easy-to-control handle. When finished with the task, retract the blade by pressing the retraction button—the process is as familiar and easy as using a ballpoint pen. Like all Slice safety blades, the pre-installed 10418 blade is made from 100% zirconium oxide, an advanced ceramic material much harder than steel. In fact, Slice blades last up to 11 times longer than metal blades. They require no oil or lubricant coating, are chemically inert, and never rust. Blade replacement is quick and convenient, requiring no tools. Secure the 10417 using the built-in clip, and you are ready to go.
